disaster recovery:
Surprisingly, many people are not aware that a robust Disaster Recovery plan is an essential part of any business strategy. Assembly Managed Services will work with you to define your RPO (Recovery Point Objectives) and RTO (Recovery Time Objectives) for key services and data before designing and deploying the most appropriate solution for your business.
It’s one thing having a robust DR plan, but who will implement it in the event of a disaster? It may seem obvious, but if we put your DR plan together, it’s probably a good idea if we manage the implementation process if it should be necessary. Otherwise you risk losing valuable time and data whilst another company tries to find out your Recovery Time Objectives, Recovery Point Objectives and Maximum Tolerable Outage. Fortunately, all of our DR plans include Implementation Services as standard unless a client specifically requests otherwise.

We can take a snapshot of your systems and data at any intervals from every 15 minutes to every 4 hours. Many clients are happy to have this stored as a flat file which we can use to restore systems in the event of a failure, but if you’re looking for a solution that minimises downtime even further, then we can have a dedicated cloud server primed and ready to deploy as quickly as anyone in the industry. You’ll literally be back up and running before you know you have a problem…LITERALLY!
Site-to-site replication is essentially real-time replication of your live application data on a secondary server in our data centre. Boring but critical. It’s not something every client wants or needs, but for clients who can’t afford to lose a single scrap of data in the event of a disaster, it’s strongly recommended. We have years of experience of building site-to-site replication into many of our data centre solutions, so if this is something you think you might need, we’re the people you need to speak to. |
